Hess Pumice Grade 1/8 Fines MN [Mine Grade] contains extensive fines, with a top size of 1/8-inch stones. RIGHT TOP: Lightweight functional component (root zone structure and water management) in engineered soils like those developed for roof-top greenscaping. RIGHT: New lawn sprouting in heavy clay soil amended by 1/8 Fines MN pumice. Some of the top size (1/8-inch) stones are clearly visible on the surface, but the entire root zone (six to eight inches deep) is liberally infused with pumice.
