List of Hess Pumice Grades
The common pumice grades listed in this directory are used in a variety of products and in diverse industrial processes. Small amounts can be purchased in gusset-bottomed zip-seal bags. Larger amounts can be purchased in 20 lb. boxes (w/ poly bag liner), full-size production bags (typically 35 to 50 lbs. each depending on grade) a full pallet of bags, or palleted supersacks.

HESS PUMICE GRADE: #0 Typically used for: cosmetic body scrub exfoliant grit, glass beveling, tumbling media, gesso and primer-coat texturizing grit. |
HESS PUMICE GRADE: #0-1/2 Typically used for: dental compounds and denture finishing, cosmetic exfoliant grit, brass polishing, metal finishing, glass beveling, sand blasting, waterless handsoaps grit (pastes and gels), glass grinding, wood finishing. |
